Reducing our carbon impact

We're working to reduce greenhouse gas emissions across our operations and supply chain. Our approach combines emissions reductions targets, collaboration with suppliers and robust environmental management through our ISO 14001-certified Environmental Management System.

Teenage Cancer Trust

We're proud to support Teenage Cancer Trust through fundraising initiatives led by our people.

Since October 2025, we've raised more than £33,000 through awareness campaigns, fundraising events and employee-led activities, with more planned throughout 2026.

Tiny forest project

In partnership with AWS and NiCE, we've supported the planting of 600 trees at Oasis Academy Connaught in Bristol, helping create greener spaces and lasting benefits for both the environment and local community.

The project supports biodiversity, encourages community participation and creates future volunteering opportunities for our team.

Sustainability partnerships

Collaboration is essential to creating lasting change.

That's why we work with industry groups, customers and partners to share knowledge, drive innovation and continually improve our approach. This includes initiatives such as the Government Digital Sustainability Alliance (GDSA) and the Bristol Climate & Nature Partnership (BCNP).

ESG governance

Sustainability is overseen by Route 101's ESG Committee, which is responsible for shaping our sustainability strategy, monitoring progress and ensuring environmental, social and governance considerations remain embedded within business decision-making and long-term planning.
