We're looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our team!
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent.
Note: This role is being advertised for full-time hours but part time may be considered for the right candidate.
Accounts Assistant required for dynamic and growing SME in Bristol in the telecommunications / technology industry. A young, friendly, hardworking company - this role is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to increase their finance exposure.
Joining the finance team, this role will be working for the Accounts Team Leader, who reports directly to the Head of Finance. The role will be responsible for working on the sales and purchase ledgers with reconciliation and analytical skill set being key.
You will take responsibility for:
- Purchase ledger – Processing purchase invoices and dealing with any queries that occur
- Sales ledger – Raising sales Invoices as and when needed
- Working on Call files from Suppliers
- Reconciliation of Supplier Statements
- Daily and Monthly bank reconciliation
- Making weekly Bacs payments
- Filing
- Undertaking ad-hoc projects and assignments as they occur
Essential Skills:
Due to the nature of the role the ideal person will have experience working in a small to medium enterprise, be confident and financially aware.
- Will have knowledge of working with Netsuite
- Will have knowledge of sales and purchase ledgers
- Computer literate, especially Excel
- Must be organised and take ownership for certain delegated projects and will be expected to work with a certain degree of autonomy.
Other details
- Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8:30 – 5:30.
- Hybrid role - 3 days a week to be based in the Bristol office (BS16 1QG) office
